Welcome to my Personal Website
Here you will find more information about me such as my interests and future plans. You also have a chance to access my academic work.

About Me
I'm a student at the University of Toronto pursuing a Double Major in Economics (with a Focus in Data Analytics) and Political Science. I am enthusiastic about solutions to data problems, and in future professional endevours hope to leverage valuable insights from data analysis to solve complex problems.
My academic life is founded on a deep interest in a diverse range of fields in economics (from game theory, competition, and finance to behavioral economics) and in politics, from classical political theory to digital espionage.
My private life is full of sport and physical exercise. I train kickboxing from an early age, as well as kite and windsurfing in the summer, and snowboarding and skiing in the winter. Sport is something that I hold dear and couldn't live without!

Essays
Short and long academic essays and research briefs.
This category represents the largest portion of my academic work registry. I have written the majority of the essays in this section on politics and political theory, but you can also find works in economics, literature, and even mathematics.
Blog
Thoughts and commentary on economics, finance, and politics.
Thought empty right now, I aim to populate my substack account with blogs on topics that I find interesting. These will include areas like economics, finance, and politics. I like to write and a blog allows me to organize my thoughts clearly while also sharing my perspectives.
Interests & Hobbies
A glimpse into my personal interests and activities that keep me balanced and motivated.
Musical Instruments
Music has always been a significant part of my life. I play the guitar since childhood and have picked up the piano during Covid. I find that musical expression provides a creative outlet that balances my analytical academic work. I enjoy exploring different genres of music, spending the majority of the week listening to anything from R&B/Pop, to jazz, to classical. Some of my favourite artists are Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, Arctic Monkeys, and The Weeknd.
Sports (Winter, Summer, Year-Round)
Physical activity is essential to my well-being. I train kickboxing regularly, which helps me develop discipline and focus. In the summer months, I enjoy kite and windsurfing, while winter months are perfect for snowboarding and skiing adventures. These activities not only keep me physically fit and mentally sharp, but also provide valuable lessons in perseverance and resilience. I like to follow The UFC, tennis, and Formula 1.
Literature
I like to read whenever I have the time. Non-fiction has taken up most of my time throughout university, as I sought to learn more about various histories to supplement my degrees and satiate my interest. I do, however, also like to delve into fiction - anything from fantasy (Lord of the Rings), literary realism (Dostoevsky), or graphic novels (The Watchmen).
What's Coming Up
Exciting opportunities and upcoming events in my academic and professional journey.
Internship at UBS
I'm very excited to be joining UBS in Zurich this coming summer for an internship in the Internal Audit division - specifically, with the Data team. This opportunity will allow me to put my data analysis competencies to practise, and gain a genuine understanding of the inner workings of a large and complex financial institution like UBS. I am excited about joining the firm's world-class professionals in its global headquarters, and I am sure of the many benefits this opportunity will provide me with.
Graduate School (?)
An option that I am considering for the upcoming calendar year is graduate school. Programs that interest me include Master of Finance and Master of Financial Economics. These programs would allow me to further my proficiency with topics in finance, and allow me to acquire more quantitative skills that would better prepare me for a career in quantitative finance. I am open to a range of possible directions, though ideally I would see myself at a North American graduate school.
