Profile

About Me

I’m a recent graduate of the University of Toronto, where I completed a Double Major in Economics (with a Focus in Data Analytics) and Political Science. I’m deeply interested in solving problems through data, and I enjoy using tools such as Python and statistical modelling to uncover patterns that inform better decisions. Whether in academic research or professional environments, I’m motivated by the challenge of turning complex information into clear, actionable findings.

My academic interests sit at the intersection of finance, economics, and data. On one hand, I am fascinated by macroeconomic finance and global financial markets – questions of how policy, market sentiment, and economic forces shape asset prices and investment decisions. On the other, I’m equally drawn to more microeconomic business dynamics; notably M&A activity, corporate strategy, and valuation. I find it exciting to analyze how companies grow, compete, and position themselves within their sectors, and how these insights translate into broader market trends.

Beyond academics, sport has always been an anchor in my life. I’ve trained in kickboxing from a young age, and I windsurf and kitesurf in the summer while switching to skiing and snowboarding in the winter. It keeps me balanced, motivated, and always looking to move and stay active.

This website marks my first experience with web development, designed and built entirely by me. It’s a small project that I’m proud of – and a fun way to demonstrate my creativity and adaptability.

Interests & Hobbies

A glimpse into my personal interests and activities that keep me balanced and motivated.

Musical Instruments

Music has always been a significant part of my life. I play the guitar since childhood and have picked up the piano during Covid. I find that musical expression provides a creative outlet that balances my analytical academic work. I enjoy exploring different genres of music, spending the majority of the week listening to anything from R&B/Pop, to jazz, to classical. Some of my favourite artists are Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, Arctic Monkeys, and The Weeknd.

Sports (Winter, Summer, Year-Round)

Physical activity is essential to my well-being. I train kickboxing regularly, which helps me develop discipline and focus. In the summer months, I enjoy kite and windsurfing, while winter months are perfect for snowboarding and skiing adventures. These activities not only keep me physically fit and mentally sharp, but also provide valuable lessons in perseverance and resilience. I like to follow The UFC, tennis, and Formula 1.

Literature

I like to read whenever I have the time. Non-fiction has taken up most of my time throughout university, as I sought to learn more about various histories to supplement my degrees and satiate my interest. I do, however, also like to delve into fiction - anything from fantasy (Lord of the Rings), literary realism (Dostoevsky), or graphic novels (The Watchmen).

What's Coming Up

Exciting opportunities and upcoming events in my academic and professional journey.

Winter 2026

Internship at Innova Capital

I will soon be joining Innova Capital as an Off-Cycle Private Equity Intern. Innova is one of the leading mid-market investors in Central and Eastern Europe, and this internship will offer me firsthand exposure to how private equity drives growth, operational improvement, and strategic transformation in mid-sized European businesses. During the internship, I hope to deepen my understanding of investment analysis, valuation, and commercial due diligence while contributing to live deal processes and portfolio work. I am especially excited to learn directly from experienced investors, gain insight into how investment theses are built in a dynamic CEE market, and develop the corporate finance skills that will prepare me for a long-term career in finance.

Summer/Fall 2026

Graduate School (?)

An option that I am considering for the upcoming calendar year is graduate school. Programs that interest me include Masters of Finance/Financial Economics as well as Masters in Data Science/Econometrics. These programs would allow me to further my proficiency with topics in finance, and allow me to acquire more quantitative skills that would better prepare me for a career in quantitative finance. I am open to several locations across the world, though I would ideally see myself at a North American graduate school.
